To accomplish it's mission, the Council will from time to time initiate
Projects within the watershed. Projects may be "on the ground"
physical improvements, "monitoring" of conditions, or other
worthwhile things such as education or organization of stakeholders
in the watershed. Funding may be sought from the Oregon Watershed Enhancement
Board or from other sources, public and private.
Candidate projects are considered and ranked in priority in a watershed
"action plan" that is periodically reviewed and revised.
The following are projects that are presently ongoing within the Seven Basins Watershed.
Fish Passage and Habitat
Riparian Tree Planting
Noxious Weed Control
Neighborhood Fire Planning Project
Storm Water Management
The following is an example of an accomplished project:
"Kids and Bugs"
