Fuels Reduction Projects

This map shows approximate locations of completed and planned fuels reduction projects on BLM managed land totaling more than 8,000 acres. It also shows approximate locations of fuels reduction projects on private lands that were funded under National Fire Plan or Title II cost-share grants from 2002 through summer 2007. These projects account for another 1,000+ acres. Not shown are the many fuels reduction projects undertaken on private land outside the cost-share grant program.
